Forebears - Paintings and Figures

The exhibits, paintings and three-dimensional figures, are part of a project that sets out to explore aspects of life in society: the individual and his social environment, the human character, archtypes, myths. Finding the best way of using the raw materials and what might be the right rendering of the subject entails defining, adjusting, identifiying, exploring and tapping energy from the past.

The course accompanies the exhibtion "Forebears". Create a 3-dimensional figure, measuring about 25 cm, in the shape of a human being, abstract or realistic.

Monday Meetings

Painting class: choose your own subject, come as often as you like, We give guidance on materials, composition etc. and optional introductions to various techniques (monotype, pastel and charcoal rubbings, gouache rinses, frottage)
